CONTEST PERIOD: The LINDT FAMILY BAR 2008 CONTEST (the "Contest") begins at 12:01 am (ET) on March 1, 2008 and concludes at 11:59 pm (ET) on July 31, 2008 (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on July 31, 2008 (the "Contest Closing Date").

ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to all residents of Canada who are of the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Employees, representatives or agents of LINDT & SPRÜNGLI (the "Sponsor"), its parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions and all advertising, media buying and promotional agencies, and contest judges, are ineligible, as well as members of the immediate family of, or persons domiciled with any of, those described above.

TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Go to www.discoverlindt.com and enter two (2) LINDT FAMILY BAR product UPC codes as follows: 2 different UPC codes from 2 different LINDT FAMILY BARS (100 grams or larger), and complete the online entry form and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win. To obtain UPC codes, you may visit any retailer in Canada that carries LINDT FAMILY BAR products and write down the UPC codes from any participating products. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per household per email address per day.

GRAND PRIZE: There will be five (5) Grand Prizes available to be won, each consisting of "Chocolate for a Year" which consists of approximately $1,200 CAD worth of chocolate. The chocolate will be delivered to each Grand Prize winner in four (4) installments, worth approximately $300 CAD each, approximately every 3 months over the course of one (1) year.

SECOND PRIZE: There will be five hundred (500) Second Prizes available to be won, each consisting of a "Chocolate Gift Pack" which consists of approximately $100 CAD worth of chocolate. The specific types of chocolates to be included in the Prize are at LINDT & SPRÜNGLI's sole discretion.

PRIZE AWARDS AND ODDS:

A random draw for the five (5) Grand Prizes and five hundred (500) Second Prizes will be made by a representative of LINDT & SPRÜNGLI in Toronto, Ontario on or about 10:00 am (ET) on August 11, 2008 from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date. The odds of winning one (1) of the five (5) Grand Prizes or one (1) of the five hundred (500) Second Prizes depends on the number of eligible entries received by the Contest closing date.

LINDT & SPRÜNGLI or a representative of LINDT & SPRUNGLI will attempt to contact the selected entrants after the draw by telephone or email within seven (7) business days following the draw. In order to win, the selected entrants must correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question and otherwise comply with the Contest rules. In addition, prior to being awarded a Prize, all Prize Winners must sign and return, within four (4) days of receipt, a standard release (the "Release") agreeing to abide by these Contest rules and regulations and agreeing that the Sponsors are not responsible for any claims or damages arising out of any matter related to the Contest or the Prize. The Prize Winners authorize the Contest Sponsors to broadcast, publish and disseminate their names, addresses, photographs, likenesses, comments and voices, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no further compensation to the Winners. In the event that a selected entrant is disqualified from eligibility, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill testing question within the time limit, cannot be contacted within seven (7) business days following the draw or the required documents are not returned and received within the required timeframe, he/she shall not be awarded the prize and LINDT & SPRÜNGLI shall have the right to draw another entrant as a Prize Winner for that prize and LINDT & SPRÜNGLI shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. By entering this Contest, the entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Contest rules and regulations.

The Grand Prize Winners and 2nd prize winners must allow up to 6-8 weeks for delivery of their prizes. The Grand Prize will be divided into 4 installments of approximately $300 CAD worth of chocolate, approximately 3 months apart.

GENERAL RULES:

a) All entries become the property of the Sponsors who shall not be responsible for: (i) lost, late, delayed, destroyed, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries/email or any computer errors or malfunctions; (ii) entries which fail to comply with these Contest rules; (iii) interruptions in telephone service including mechanical or other problems; (iv) any failure of the website during the Contest Period, or (v) any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer or other property related to or resulting from downloading any material in the Contest, all of which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Contest. All entrants and the Winners assume any and all liability for injuries caused, or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of any Prize awarded including but not limited to damages for personal injury or property damage. Sponsor reserves the right to designate another sole or partial administrator(s) of the Contest, and for those purposes the latter shall be referred to as "Sponsor" or "Sponsors" as well.

b) Sponsors reserve the right in their sole and absolute discretion to cancel, withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend this Contest in whole or in part should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest and award the Grand Prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution

c) This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

d) All entries are subject to verification by any of the Sponsors and Sponsors reserve the right to cancel and revoke any entries if they are found to be improper or if the entrant is subsequently found not to be eligible pursuant to the Contest rules.

e) Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Prize may not be refunded or transferred and is not convertible to cash. In the event of unavailability of stated prizes (or any portion thereof) LINDT & SPRÜNGLI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any unused portions of the Grand Prizes or Second Prizes will be forfeited and will have no cash value.

f) By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants.

g) Grand Prize Winners and Second Prize Winners must be willing to accept prize delivery upon LINDT & SPRÜNGLI terms and delivery times. Shipped Prizes shall not be insured and Sponsors shall not assume any liability for lost, stolen, destroyed, damaged, or misdirected Prizes.

h) By completing the entry form, all entrants consent to the collection, use and distribution of their personal information by LINDT & SPRÜNGLI for the purposes of administering the Contest and as otherwise set out in our Privacy Promise on our website. LINDT & SPRÜNGLI will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the Contest. i) Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of this Contest in Quebec may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
